- "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" is happening, and the cast for the world premiere in Boston this summer will feature Aaron Tveit ("Catch Me If You Can"), Karen Olivo ("West Side Story"), Danny Burstein ("Fiddler on the Roof"), and Sahr Ngaujah ("Fela!") - sounds spectacular spectacular!
- Meanwhile, a copyright lawsuit over Broadway's "Anastasia" is headed to trial, after a judge found sufficient, uncredited similarities between the musical and a 1952 play and 1956 film
- Members of the Broadway community will come together in Sunrise, Florida on April 16th for a concert to benefit the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Victims' Fund
